'Sole Hope' Shoe Cutting Party was

                 SOLE MUCH FUN!!!!
We had a lot of fun at our Blue Grass UMC Club 456 Sole Hope shoe cutting party! 30 kids and parents helped make 20 sets of patterns out of donated jeans and milk jugs, which will be sent to Uganda to make 20 pairs of shoes for kids who have never owned a pair.

Our Shoe Cutting Party was an amazing way to 'spread the hope'! The shoes we cut were sent to Uganda and then assembled by Ugandans who are in desperate need of a sustainable income to help provide for their families. Sole Hope pays a fair wage for these shoes and places them on the feet of needy children after foot washing/jigger removal clinics.

Tanner and Caleb work together to trace and cut patterns.
Lydia is all smiles after cutting part of a shoe from her jeans.
Isabelle and Madison working hard at tracing the patterns.

It sure is a lot of fun when you cut patterns with friends!
